Starting with a country pub in 1968, we have Evolved to own and operate hotels, caravan parks and serviced apartments throughout Australia.

1968 First Pub Purchased
Ted Broughton purchased the Railway Hotel in 1968, this was the start of the Evolve journey.
Construction works at Merimbula Holiday Park
The Broughton family business expands
Over the next 50 years the Broughton family goes on to own and operate multiple businesses including five hotels, 13 caravan parks, three motels, and two serviced apartment hotels.
Barooga Hotel
2015 Evolve Hotels launches
Evolve Hotels established in 2015 by David Broughton. From humble beginnings the business has now ‘Evolved’.
